The UK Government's housing solution for First Time Buyers.......

Build your own modular home!

The Government having teamed up with a leading self-build organisation have annouced that they are going to relax UK planning laws to assist First Time Buyers looking to get on the housing ladder. The new laws will free up valuable land for suitable projects.

Although the new laws are yet to be finalised the government have announced a step by step guide to creating your dream home, and have even teamed up with a leading 'materials' supplier to offer you their 'house' building kit for just £10,000.

We can exclusively reveal pictures of prototype homes and full information on what this 'First Time Buyers Kit' will include:

The Housing Minister, Yvette Cooper, was heard not to say, "The government recognise the need to assist First Time Buyers in the UK, we decided against raising the stamp duty threshold during the recent budget and try to assist first time buyers in any way we can, we understand many first time buyers struggle to make the initial step on the housing ladder, but still we allow the Bank of England to continue to raise interest rates in an effort to halt rising house prices." she did'nt continue to add "we understand that raising interests rates usually leads to a slow down or decrease in the general housing market, meaning buying a first house is more affordable for First Time Buyers."

A few simple facts.......

Interest Rates in the UK are at their highest in seven years.

According to the BBC, the average house price in the UK is nearly £185,000!

The average house price in 2001 was under £100,000!

The First Time Buyers Modular self-build kit includes:

First Time Buyer

Incase you have'nt realised i am a first time buyer myself, infact i'm perhaps in a better situation than most as i'm currently in the process of buying my first property after eventually saving up enough for a deposit. Both myself and my girlfriend were forced to take on second jobs to make our dream a reality, and now work around 60 hours a week, and we will have to continue to do so inorder to afford out house.

Perhaps the government should tax breaks for people who have two jobs?

If any of you would like to donate to our house fund, please feel free, all donations are gratefully accepted and will go towards our furniture fund, else we might be sitting on a cardboard box like the ones above!
